You will lead the strategic direction and delivery of Cyrenians’ income generation across individual, community, corporate, event, legacy, major donor, trust and grant fundraising.

As a Cyrenians Senior Manager, you will contribute to organisation-wide planning and strategic development, taking into account input from your team.

You’ll lead a skilled and collaborative team, build strong and innovative partnerships, and work closely with our services, Marketing, Comms, Policy, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure fundraising aligns with our mission, values, and long-term goals.

Cyrenians has been supporting people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness
in Scotland since 1968.

  • Our mission is to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness through:
    Learning from lived experience
  • Delivering targeted services that focus on prevention, early intervention,
    and support into a home
  • Influencing changes in legislation and policy

We work with people at the sharpest end of crisis and with those navigating life’s
hardest transitions—offering personalised, trauma-informed support that meets
people where they are and supports them to where they want to be.

We are committed to tackling homelessness in all its forms—through
relationships built on trust, compassion, and respect. From mental health to
employability, conflict resolution, housing access, food insecurity, and loneliness.
We walk alongside individuals to build stability and open up new opportunities.

Our public health approach to homeless prevention strives to stop people
becoming homeless by addressing risk factors and offering support at the
earliest opportunity rather than waiting until a crisis happens. It seeks to move
away from addressing a lack of accommodation without addressing the
underlying reasons why people have become homeless in the first place, such as
poverty and trauma.

Our services improved the life chances of nearly 7,000 people last year –
through one-to-one intensive support, training, tailored advice, community
sessions and more.

We couldn’t deliver the support we provide without the hundreds of wonderful
volunteers, community and business partners, individuals, and grant makers who
generously offer their time and support – financial and in-kind.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Collaborative and relationship-focused, both internally and externally
• Inspirational partner who has strong existing networks and can deliver innovative approaches to partnerships
• A strategic thinker with hands-on delivery skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Values-led, positive, adaptable, and committed to Cyrenians’ mission

Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or CASE/IDPE would be advantageous, as would experience in social impact measurement and/or storytelling for fundraising.
